THE IMPORTANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Who is the Holy Spirit?
·         The Holy Spirit is Jesus unlimited.
·         He is the manifestation of the presence of Jesus Christ on earth.
·         He’s in charge of the church, no miracles, no signs or wonders happens without his involvement.
·         He’s the facilitator, the engineer, the convener of all God’s manifested plan here on earth. He’s a member of the God-head and you can’t be born again without his involvement.
·         He gives the gift of the spirit as he wills and he never speaks of himself, but reveals Jesus in his full capacity.

·         God the father wills it, Jesus does it, the Holy spirit manifests it.
·         The holy spirit is the mighty wind and the gentle wind.
·         No man overwhelms him, he overwhelms you. He fills the house and shakes the foundation of the building. He baptizes with an irresistible fire.
·         He is our teacher, comforter, advocate, standby and the gift of Jesus to the church.
·         The Lord Jesus walked the earth. The people saw His mighty power, the heavens were opened and a voice spoke “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased” and none of them were saved because they did not have the Holy spirit.
·         There was so much power evident on earth: Lazarus was raised from dead, the fountain of blood dried up at the touch of his garment, and the people doubted his resurrection.
·         For none can come to the father except the spirit draws him.

SEVEN THINGS THE LORD BEGINS TO DO AS YOU WALK WITH HIM

1.      ATMOSPHERE
God begins to change the atmosphere around us as we walk with him. He diffuses his fragrance upon us. He empowers us to create it by the Holy Ghost
Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

2.      MESSAGE
As we walk closely with the Lord, he gives us his message. The message gives hope, liberation and stirs up the fire in you.
·         Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6

3.      CIRCUMSTANCE
God changes circumstances around you to bring his will to pass. The event of your life is structured by the Holy Ghost to align you into God’s plan.
·         And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

4.      LOCATION
God is everywhere, but your blessing is not everywhere. Your blessing is at the place he has commanded his blessings for you. As we walk closely with him, he leads us by his spirit to the right place for business, ministry or career.
·         [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; Psalm 133:2

5.      DESTINATION
The things of God are line upon line, precepts upon precepts, a little here, a little there. As we walk with him, he shows us his full plan.
·         Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Job 8:7

6.      WORSHIP
The Longing for his presence is like fresh oil, you fall in love with Jesus again.
·         God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

7.      VISION
God puts you in the part of grace, open your eyes and enables you to see possibilities.
Where people failed, you succeed and when they succeeded, you excel them because you have vision.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:17-18
