WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT ?

Acts 1:7-8 And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."(NKJV)
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, anointed and raised from the grave by the Spirit, and He will destroy anti-Christ by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was so dependent on the Holy Spirit and his desire is for us to receive the Holy Ghost. If we look at the doctrine of the God-head (the trinity), the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. We understand that they are co-equal, co-substantial and co-essential. In John 14:16, Jesus reveals to us his relationship with the father and the release of the Holy Ghost.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--(NKJV)
The relationship of the God-head, the father did not become a father, the son did not become a son, they have always had unbreakable relationship.
Jesus says, I am in the father and the father is in me. The spirit is called the spirit of the Father; he is also called the spirit of the Son and the Son in the Father. And the agency by which this is done is the Holy Spirit.

The father thinks, the son speaks, the Holy Spirit acts.
The first Adam was a living-soul.
The second Adam was a life-giving spirit.

Matthew 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."(NKJV)
Church! From heaven to earth the order of the procession is the father, son and the spirit. But from earth to heaven, is the spirit, son and the father.
If we marginalize the Holy Spirit we lose access to the son and the father.

The only person alive in the universe today that wants to marginalize the Holy Spirit is the devil himself.
When Jesus was on earth, the worse enemy to the enemy was Jesus. But now the Holy Spirit has been in resident, since the physical departure of Jesus. The only member of the God-head that is on the planet is the Holy Spirit and he’s the worse enemy to the enemy.

Today, the Holy Spirit is being blasphemed, grieved and troubled. If we blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, it means we have no access to the son and the father. The Holy Spirit is existential Christ. He is the living existence of Christ; he lives inside of us.

We have an advocate in heaven, JESUS CHRIST, who by right of His blood release every blessing from the father to us. We also have an advocate within us, he has a legal power of attorney who when we pray and we don’t know how to pray, he begins to pray within us and plead our case by the blood of Jesus against the devil himself.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.(NKJV)
